JMS Engineering has been providing structural engineering services in the Okanagan since 1994. Joseph Sarkor, P.Eng. , P.E. , the company founder, has been a professional engineer for over 40 years. In that time, he has practiced predominantly in British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington State, but also has international experience in the public and private sector in West Africa.

Currently, JMS Engineering includes an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) who is specializing in structural engineering. We also include a Civil Engineering Technologist.

Our drafting team includes two consulting drafts persons, one of whom specializes in architectural design and the other in architectural /structural technology.

Over the past 28 years, JMS Engineering has designed residential, commercial, institutional, recreational, and industrial buildings throughout B.C.’s interior and elsewhere.
